Additional policies and FAQs
Fine silver pieces are made of silver clay (99.9%), whilst any ‘findings’ e.g. necklaces, bracelets and other attachments are made of sterling silver.
Silver clay is a material that is made up of reclaimed fine silver plus a non toxic organic binder. The reclaimed silver is often taken from manufacturing processes that use a lot of the metal, such as photography. The company that manufactures the material also use production processes that are designed to have a minimal impact on the environment.
What is the difference between fine silver and sterling silver? -
Fine silver is 99.9% pure silver whereas sterling silver is 92.5% silver with the rest being a metal alloy such as copper. As silver is a soft metal, sterling silver is often used for jewellery attachments such as necklaces, clasps etc as the metal is harder due to the metal alloy component. Fine silver tarnishes more slowly than sterling silver.
All my pieces are delivered gift wrapped.
Perfect for giving...or for that little gift you buy yourself once in a while.
